Russia Rostec to complain to govt about metal products price hike

MOSCOW, Dec 27 (PRIME) -- State industrial corporation Rostec plans to ask the government to work with metals companies which had increased prices by about 30% over the year, CEO Sergei Chemezov told reporters on Tuesday.

“We have a really big problem with metals companies. They have lifted the prices very high, by almost 30%,” he said.

“One should not raise prices this fast. I can understand a 10% increase, but not this. We will send a request to the government asking them to influence on companies.”

He said he meant a prices rise in annual terms.
